Four calculators for the stages a power tree is made of. They need no account and show their equations.
- Buck converter power stage Every loss in a buck stage added up across the load range: switching, conduction, gate drive, dead time, snubber, core and ESR. Synchronous or catch diode, one phase or several, with transient droop and the input-filter stability check.
- PCB trace width Minimum width for a current and a temperature rise per IPC-2221, outer or inner layer, any copper weight, with the width-against-current curve.
- Resistor voltage divider State the tolerance you need and get the cheapest E-series pair that meets it, an error budget that shows where the error actually comes from, and the yield from a Monte Carlo run.
- Passive filter and Bode plot RC, RL, LC and RLC filters, low-pass to band-stop, with magnitude and phase plots. Fit the values to an E-series and see what the rounding did to the response.
